Maki Itoh Promises To Make AEW Return

Maki Itoh is definitely one of the most popular and beloved Japanese female pro wrestlers in the world right now. She had a brief stint in AEW back in March of last year and fans couldn’t get enough of her. It seems she wants to make an AEW return soon enough.

However, she had to return to Japan and leave AEW, which disappointed several fans. Since then many fans have been wondering whether Maki Itoh will be making her return to the company anytime soon.

Itoh currently wrestles for Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling and is their International Princess Champion. TJPW took to Twitter and uploaded a short video, where Maki Itoh made her intentions clear. Itoh stated that she will make her return to AEW and defeat Thunder Rosa in a rematch.

“With this belt, Ito will definitely go to AEW! And I’ll fight Thunder Rosa one more time. And Ito will definitely win! There are many, many more attractive people in the world. So Ito wants to beat them one by one with this belt.”

We will have to wait and see if Maki Itoh will be able to strike a deal with AEW and make her return to the company, as she has proven to be a fan favorite during her brief run last year.
