Carmelo Hayes has been on a role lately. Hayes defeated Roderick Strong of The Diamond Mine to unify NXT North American and Cruiserweight titles two weeks ago at New Year’s Evil.

The two tore the house down with their tremendous performance. Both were adamant on winning the titles in a bid to become the second dual champion in the yellow brand’s history.

The match ended when Carmelo Hayes pulled off an amazing leg drop from the top rope and landed straight on Roddy’s neck. He then pinned Strong’s shoulders to the mat and made history in the process.

It seems that business is about to pick up for the young champion who was recently pictured hanging around with Hurt Business’ own MVP. The two took a picture that was later uploaded to MVP’s Instagram.

It didn’t take long for WWE NXT to share the picture on their official Twitter account. MVP said Hayes reminds him of someone. The champion, on the other hand, said it never hurts to talk business.
