Bobby Lashley won the WWE Championship after beating The Miz on Monday Night RAW back in March last year. Since then, he was booked as a very dominant force and had Vince McMahon’s seal of approval. Lashley then lost that title to Big E in a huge moment that fans will always remember.

Bobby Lashley then became the #1 contender for Brock Lesnar’s WWE Title a few weeks ago. The two would have confrontations on Monday Night RAW that set up their feud properly.

The Almighty and The Beast clashed at the Royal Rumble for the WWE Championship. In the end, Lashley won the match after Paul Heyman turned on Brock Lesnar.

Despite that, his feud with Brock Lesnar might not be over just yet. While speaking to Graham GSM Matthews of Bleacher Report, Bobby Lashley was asked if he wants to face Lesnar in an MMA-style fight. Lashley stated that he is interested in squaring off against Brock Lesnar in the Fight Pit and not a street fight.

Oh, it all interests me. The only thing that doesn’t interest me is a Street Fight. I think what I can do with [my fists] is going to be more brutal than what I can do with a kendo stick or with a table or with a chair. I don’t think we even need that and I think he feels the same way. I think he’d rather suplex me than swing a stick at me.

So many people want to see it that a Fight Pit would be cool. Put on some MMA gloves and get in a cage. I think any one of those things interest me.”

As reported earlier, WWE already has Bobby Lashley’s opponent for WrestleMania 38 locked in. We will have to wait and see whether Lashley and Lesnar will square off against each other in an MMA-style fight or not.
