Big E promised that he would be at Raw tonight to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Bobby Lashley and Randy Orton battled in the main event of the show, and Mr. Money in the Bank kept his promise.

Lashley defeated Orton in the main event of the match. Then Lashley continued a post-match beatdown on Randy Orton. Lashley put Orton through the announce table and appeared to have tweaked his knee while doing so.

Then Big E came down and cashed in his Money in the Bank contract. This popped the Boston crowd in a big way as Big E came down to claim his spot.

Lashley didn’t want to defend his title, because of his hurt knee. Then the bell sounded and Lashley attacked Big E in the corner. Big E took out Lashley’s knee and then he went for a Big Ending, but Lashley got out of it and he hit a spear for a two count.

Suddenly, Big E hit the Big Ending and won the title. Now Big E is the WWE Champion. This was a huge moment for Big E’s career and he celebrated as the show went off the air.
