WWE’s developmental brand is preparing for New Year’s Evil on January 4th and they added two big matches to that card this week during NXT 2.0.

NXT 2.0 started off this week with Tommaso Ciampa already in the ring. Bron Breakker soon came out and they continued their feud. This resulted in Breakker playing some mind games on Ciampa before issuing a challenge for New Year’s Evil.

Raquel Gonzalez defeated Dakota Kai in a street fight this week on NXT 2.0. That was followed by Gonzalez cutting a promo on Mandy Rose. Cora Jade then came out and tried to talk to Gonzalez, but Mandy Rose booked a triple threat NXT Women’s Title match for New Year’s Evil. Rose was poolside in a bikini for that announcement via satellite.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
