Miro made his debut in AEW last year and there were lot of expectations from him as he had proven to be a great performer. Miro finally lived up to his potential after defeating Darby Allin for the TNT Championship. Since then he was booked as a very strong champion. It seems Jim Cornette had a lot of praise for Miro recently.

Miro became a sought after champion in AEW. His pure dominance over his opponents has certainly put the pro wrestling world on notice. He would then lose the TNT Championship to Sammy Guevara in September.

Prior to his dominant run as the champion, Miro largely floundered on AEW. He was involved in dull feuds with The Best Friends. He barely had any character to him except his love for video games.

While speaking on The Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette gave massive props to Miro for his promo skills yet again, his time talking about his promo from last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

I never thought I would say this, but I love Miro. If they had given me this Miro at the start, I wouldn’t have ever said a bad thing about Miro.

He basically again another one of the pre tapes where he warned God, he threatened God, he questioned God. And now apparently God is buckled, and Miro is in a tournament because he had to fill in for Moxley. Is he writing this stuff himself? If he is, it is fantastic.”

MIro qualified for the finals in the AEW World Title eliminator after defeating Orange Cassidy on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. He is set to square off against Bryan Danielson at AEW Full Gear. It remains to be seen whether Miro will end up winning the match or not.
