Thea Hail has been largely missing from the picture on NXT television in 2026, but that may be about to change.
False Finish reports that Hail is expected to make appearances on WWE EVOLVE in the near future, which could finally give her a more defined role after spending much of the year in limbo.
Since the breakup of Chase U last year, Hail has struggled to regain the momentum that made her one of the more popular acts on NXT. She has popped up here and there, but nothing has really stuck.
Her biggest TV opportunity this year came in the Women’s Speed Title No. 1 Contender’s Tournament, where she lost to Izzi Dame. Beyond that, her appearances have been scattered, and most of her work has come away from television.
Hail has still been active, competing at NXT live events and dark matches throughout the year, but the consistency that she enjoyed during the Chase U era has been gone. In recent months, she has suffered losses to names like Myka Lockwood and Kelani Jordan while only making occasional appearances on television. Now, it looks like WWE could have a new direction in mind.
Now, Hail is set for appearances on WWE EVOLVE, giving her another platform to rebuild herself after Chase U’s collapse. The move makes sense. EVOLVE has quickly become a place where WWE can spotlight talent that is not currently featured heavily on NXT television. For Hail, it could mean regular ring time and a chance to develop a character beyond being the former heart and soul of Chase U.
At just 22 years old, there is still plenty of time for Hail to find her footing again. But after months of limited exposure, it certainly appears that WWE is looking for a new lane for one of NXT’s most energetic performers.
Do you think WWE EVOLVE is the right move for Thea Hail, or should she be getting more opportunities on NXT television? Let us know in the comments below.
