Adam Cole is touted as one of the best in-ring workers WWE has ever seen and remains one of the top Stars in NXT since making his debut back in 2017. His in-ring skills are second to none and he has competed in some of the best matches in NXT’s history.

Adam Cole is also officially done with NXT for good after NXT TakeOver 36, where he was defeated by Kyle O’Reilly, bringing an end to their feud. Right after that, The Young Bucks teased contacting Adam Cole. Cole has one more WWE appearance, but it’s only to promote action figures.

CM Punk also dropped a subtle hint about Adam Cole going to AEW. All these lead one to believe that Adam Cole is done with WWE for good.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter , Adam Cole hasn’t signed a contract with WWE and will become a free agent with no non-compete clause. It was said that Vince McMahon definitely wants to keep Adam Cole in the company.

Cole has yet to sign a contract and becomes a free agent on 8/27 with no non-compete. Either way he’s said to be done with NXT, although not necessarily WWE. Those close to Cole have said has not decided on his future, which would be either AEW or WWE main roster, but Vince McMahon definitely wants to keep him.

As Ringside News exclusively reported, Adam Cole isn’t receiving any huge push to stay in the company and we were unable to confirm any rumors about a $1 million contract offer.

WWE is currently not making any plans for Adam Cole going to the main roster either. This will be an interesting time, because Tony Khan’s company can’t legally enter into talks with him until his WWE deal completes. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Adam Cole.
