Adam Cole is touted as one of the best in-ring workers WWE has ever seen and remains one of the top Stars in NXT since making his debut back in 2017. His in-ring skills are second to none and he has competed in some of the best matches in NXT’s history.

He has done everything there is to accomplish in NXT and for the past few months, Adam Cole has been engaged in a bitter feud with former Undisputed Era member Kyle O’Reilly.

As reported earlier, Adam Cole’s WWE NXT contract is set to expire after WWE SummerSlam this month.

It was previously reported that Vince McMahon wants Adam Cole for the main roster in WWE. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer radio, Vince McMahon’s meeting with Adam Cole was said to have went well, but it is still undecided what Adam Cole’s future will hold in WWE. The company’s writers for both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown have been told to think of ideas for Adam Cole.

“I was under the impression that they promised him a main roster spot and they told the writers that they want Adam Cole on the main roster on RAW or SmackDown. So, I think that was part of the meeting that took place [on Friday].”

It is not known whether Adam Cole will be staying in WWE after the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view. We will keep you updated on this ongoing story.
