Karrion Kross debuted new look for his character this week on RAW, and fans too exception to that new look. He trended online for a very bad reason as fans lashed out at WWE creative.

During a recent Reffin Rant, ex WWE referee Jimmy Korderas went into Karrion Kross’ new character. He dragged the idea that Kross needed a character change, but he also understands that WWE is trying to reach a wider audience than he found in NXT.
“I’m waiting for the reinvention and I’m waiting to see that old Karrion Kross that we saw in NXT with that great entrance, and what do we get? Oh, Maximus, Maximus, Maximus, we get gladiator — it could have been Russell Crowe — I get it, you’re trying to cater to a different audience, you’re trying to cater to kids and a general audience, but at the same time you can’t insult your die-hard audience who knows that Karrion Kross was this badass character in NXT. Bring it over, you can bridge that gap. You can carry it over and it will work, I just don’t know why they went this way.”
Vince McMahon might have made a statement about his power over NXT Superstars, or he could just really like gladiators. Either way, he has a new look on the main roster and only time will tell how long he keeps it. If anything, at least he won his match on RAW after debuting his new getup.
