KENTA’s stint in NJPW has been a solid one since he came back to the company and became a part of The Bullet Club. He was engaged in a feud with Jon Moxley for the IWGP United States Championship earlier this year. He also doesn’t care what people think about him at all.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the entire world and this includes the pro wrestling world and unfortunately it seems yet another NJPW star has tested positive.

KENTA took to his Instagram story and revealed that he was suffering from COVID-19 for the past few weeks but recently he tested negative for the virus.

I got COVID last few weeks. First of all, I apologize to everyone who had to [change plans] because of me. Fortunately, my symptom was not too bad. Just [had a] fever a few days (102 F) and lost my smell. But now I’m totally fine. And got [a negative test]. Stay safe and healthy, everyone.

KENTA last appeared for NJPW back on July 25 as part of the King of Pro Wrestling 22-man Ranbo battle royal.

With the next major event being Wrestle Grand Slam in MetLife Dome on September 4 and 5, we will have to wait and see if he will return by then or not.
