Cody Rhodes usually considers AEW his television home, but there are other things on his plate. His game show competition the Go Big Show pulled him away for a few weeks after Brodie Lee beat him for the AEW TNT Title, and now he will likely have to come up with another excuse to be absent.

The Go Big Show is coming back for another season. The last time this show was shot they had to quarantine and form a strict bubble due to the pandemic. Shooting might not be as strict this time around, but Rhodes is still likely to miss work.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that Rhodes is likely going to miss several weeks of AEW Dynamite tapings so he can be the judge in the next season of his reality game show competition.

Sadly, Cody won’t have Snoop Dogg to hang out with this time around. As originally reported by Deadline, Snoop has been replaced by DJ Khaled for the next season of the new show. The upcoming 10-episode season will begin filming in August.
