The May 1 episode of WWE SmackDown is set to go down at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. That included some big news about Cody Rhodes from the top of the show.

Cody Rhodes took a punt to the face and that really messed up his money-maker. He spent a few weeks on the shelf, as he wasn’t medically cleared. Now, things are different for the World Heavyweight Champion.

The American Nightmare opened up the show this week, and he had a lot ot talk about. First off, he addressed his current medical status. After all, his face was still a bit busted up.

Cody Rhodes explained that he spoke to Nick Aldis and WWE’s medical staff when he got into the building. In the end, he was medically cleared for competition. This is a big deal for Rhodes, because he doesn’t have a current challenger for the title.

Only time will tell what is next for Cody Rhodes, but he is certainly feeling much better now. He also appears to be ready for action once again.
