WWE is getting even closer to Money in the Bank and they made some big changes to the event this week on SmackDown. A lot of things happened this week and the company already had slots to fill in the men’s Money in the Bank match. That resulted in an eventful episode for the blue brand.

Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Baron Corbin tonight to earn a spot in the Money in the Bank match. That was a big win for Shinsuke Nakamura and further drove Corbin toward rock bottom.

Seth Rollins took on Cesaro next for another spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match. After busting Cesaro open, Rollins was able to score a pinfall and a spot in the ladder match.

Sonya Deville also announced that Bianca Belair will defend the SmackDown Women’s Title on SmackDown next week and not Money in the Bank. Carmella will face Belair in Bayley’s absence. Liv Morgan was then given Carmella’s spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
