Zelina Vega Returning To WWE

Zelina Vega was released from her WWE contract, but she might be coming back already. It was previously reported that she has a contract that won’t allow her to work for AEW. Perhaps that contract was with WWE.

According toFightful, Zelina Vega was at the WWE Performance Center on May 13th. She was not just there for a visit. It is reported that she filmed something there as well.

Thea Trinidad has been on Twitch pretty much full-time since her WWE release. She did not like losing that community and revenue when WWE sent down their third-party ban. We are uncertain how WWE will use her, but the idea is that she is coming back.

She also made very public situation out of the need to unionize Superstars. She spoke with Andrew Yang about the subject as well and sent out some very bold tweets.

At this time there is no word on whether Zelina Vega signed a new deal. It is reported that the working plan is to bring her back into the company in some day.

Vega wanted to wrestle for WWE, but they never really booked her in many matches. Thea Trinidad has years of experience in the ring that she was unable to use. Perhaps they will allow her to have more of an active role in the women’s division the second time around.

Her husband Aleister Black is also getting a fresh coat of paint on his character. The company might have finally decided to do something with them as a couple. We have yet to have that confirmed, but there are many possibilities for a second run in WWE.
