Spoiler On Roman Reigns’ Future On WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns is set to face Randy Orton at Survivor Series, but that is not a match for either champion’s title. The company is already laying the groundwork for his next championship feud.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Daniel Bryan will be back prior to Survivor Series for big angle. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter followed-up on our initial report and explained that Bryan will face Roman Reigns, but it will be out of necessity. They simply don’t have anyone else on that main event level on the blue brand.

[Reigns] scheduled to work with Daniel Bryan, out of necessity it seems, because Bryan wasn’t positioned like a main event title contender at all when he returned.

Daniel Bryan’s position in WWE is unlike many wrestlers who also work on the writing team. His idea is not to put himself over, but to help the overall product by elevating others. The beatdown Daniel Bryan took last week, and the pummeling that took place after the show was over was certainly a sign of that.

It appears that Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan is the match that they’re going with on the SmackDown side.
