Impact Wrestling Done With Michael Elgin After #SpeakingOut Movement

Michael Elgin’s name was brought into the #SpeakingOut movement and Impact Wrestling took action by suspending him. Now he will not appear for the company again.

Impact Wrestling has confirmed that Michael Elgin will be removed from all future content. They have done the same for Joey Ryan as his name was also brought up numerous times in the #SpeakingOut movement.

“Impact Wrestling announced that Michael Elgin will not be appearing in any further Impact Wrestling programming.”

Michael Elgin was suspended on June 22nd. His suspension was announced along with the firing of Joey Ryan and David Crist. Numerous allegations came out regarding Michael Elgin’s past behavior including stories of abuse and harassment against women.

It’s unclear how Impact Wrestling will deal with these departures on television. They also fired Tessa Blanchard, but her exit had nothing to do with the #SpeakingOut movement.
