Sierra Loxton tweeted out a message to Joey Ryan and she was not happy with his response to the allegations. He said that he’s tried to make wrestling a “safe space,” but Loxton has proof that shows otherwise. She included the story of an anonymous individual who also had a terrible experience with Ryan.
I’ve had more than one person come forward and told me the abuse you gave them. Don’t you dare say you’ve tried to make it a safe place!!
She would like to remain Anonymous still! But f*ck you Joey Ryan!!!
This account that Loxton posted stated that Ryan wouldn’t take no for an answer. Ryan allegedly flew this person in to a show early to “see the sights.” Then he took this person to a bar where they were given “strong cocktails.” Ryan drove this person to their hotel, and entered the room after being told no. The story escalated after that with an account of sexual assault.
Another fan called Joey Ryan out for actively pursuing his fiance and ruining his life. He called Ryan “the lowest form of human scum” and said that his “time is up.”
You actively pursued my fiance and were instrumental in helping ruin my life.
You are the lowest form of human scum on the face of the earth.
You’re going to burn. Your time is up. And you f*cking deserve it.
Another text conversation with Joey Ryan showed him saying: “I don’t know how to talk to girls unless I’m flirting with them. Mine is a character flaw.”
These aren’t the only stories coming out after Joey Ryan’s statement about #SpeakingOut allegations. Joey Janela also commented on Ryan where is had some extremely colorful language.
The #SpeakingOut movement is creating a safe space for people to come forward with their stories of abuse. Hopefully, this will do a lot of good to create a much better atmosphere for the future of pro wrestling.
