Matt Riddle’s name was brought into the #SpeakingOut movement. Now WWE is commenting on the situation.

It was alleged by Candy Cartwright that she had a terrible experience with Riddle in May, 2018. While in a van with other people, Riddle tried to engage in sexual intercourse with Cartwright. She refused, but then as she recalled: “he grabbed me by my throat, choked me and said ‘what if I just made you?’ I ended up giving him oral sex (praying someone wouldn’t wake up) to get out of having intercourse with him. It was incredibly humiliating.)”

WWE’s statement about Riddle was much like the one they released concerning Jordan Devlin. They released one line of text which stated they are taking this situation seriously.

“We take any allegation of this nature very seriously and are looking into the matter.”

Pete Dunne commented on the allegations against his Broserweights tag team partner. He is sickened by everything coming out across the board.

Matt Riddle is set to make his Friday Night SmackDown debut this week on Fox. We will have to see what the future holds for him.
