Impact Wrestling Confirms Return Of Former World Champion At Slammiversary

Impact Wrestling dropped huge tease a few weeks ago. They used the fact that so many recently released WWE Superstars are former TNA wrestlers. The commercial teased the debut of several former stars. Now the company has confirmed that at least one former World Champion will be returning.

We previously reported that Impact Wrestling dropped a huge tease for EC3 this week on their show. You can click here to watch that footage. It seems that he is targeting Moose and the TNA World Title. EC3 had his own epic promo to drop few days ago.

Impact Wrestling released a new promo for Slammiversary. This was another promo intended to build a lot of hype for the event while not revealing very much. They did say that their “world will change.”

Names included in this new video from Impact wrestling included: Kurt Angle, Eric Young, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Lio Rush, Brian Myers, Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis, and Sting. They also used Ken Anderson, James Storm, Austin Aries, Chris Sabian, and Bully Ray to make things even more interesting.

The promo also featured a waving Bulgarian Flag since they don’t own any footage of Rusev. The former Bulgarian Brute already spoke about possibly coming to Impact Wrestling. He was very coy about the subject.

We’ll have to see what Impact Wrestling has planned. They certainly seem confident that fans will be excited about what’s to come.
