Noteworthy WWE Employee’s Job Could Have Been Saved

There are a lot of unsung heroes in WWE, especially in the writer’s room. WWE axed a writer during the last round of cuts, but apparently, her job could have been saved.

Andrea Listenberger was the writer responsible for penning lot of the segments with Otis and Mandy Rose. As Ringside News exclusively reported, Vince McMahon was the real driving force behind the situation.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that while Listenberger was fired, her job could have been saved if people would have pulled for her.

Others have said that there were people on the SmackDown creative team that could have gone to bat for her when the cuts came.

WWE had to make a lot of difficult cuts during their round of budget slashing measures. We’ll have to see if they must do even more cost cutting down the line. It’s always sad when someone loses their job, especially when it could have been avoided.
