Rusev Released From WWE Contract

Rusev didn’t sign a new WWE contract and then he was pulled from television. Now the Bulgarian Brute is out.

WWE has now released Rusev along with so many others. This marks the latest in a now growing list of Superstars that the company is letting go.

Rusev sent out a tweet saying that he is now out. It’s likely that he has bittersweet feelings about this release.

It’s easy to say that he will end up in AEW, but right now a lot of things are uncertain. Rusev’s dream of coming to America and becoming a WWE Superstar came true. He didn’t become WWE Champion, but he left WWE as an American citizen and married to a Ravishing Russian.
