WWE Reportedly Has Two Options For Becky Lynch WrestleMania Opponent

WWE has plenty of options with NXT Superstars. It seems like Shanya Baszler could be moving over to the main roster very soon. Perhaps fans will see a big clue about that after Baszler’s NXT Women’s Title defense against Rhea Ripley next week.

We previously reported that WWE has big plans for Shayna Baszler in 2020. The finish for Survivor Series was written around the Queen Of Spades and her “call-up” seems imminent.

Wrestling News reports that the rumor right now is WWE is positioning Baszler for a WrestleMania match against Becky Lynch. This is reportedly the plan for Mania “if they couldn’t get Ronda Rousey back.”

They wanted Lynch vs. Baszler for WrestleMania if they couldn’t get Ronda Rousey back and Rousey has said that she is in no rush to return.

At this point, we have no idea what Ronda Rousey is doing. We’ll hear Triple H say that she’s pitching ideas for her WWE return. Then she’ll say that she wants to be a different kind of WWE Superstar.

It seems like Becky Lynch is pegged to face either Ronda Rousey or Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 36. Currently Rousey is the most likely woman to win the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble match. Baszler’s odds aren’t bad either. Let’s just see what happens, but it seems like they could both be gunning for The Man.
