Lio Rush was not on RAW this week and some are doubtful that he will make return to the main roster at all. In fact, if you were to place bets on whether Lio Rush will be back on the main roster any time soon you might want to place your money on the more pessimistic side of the equation. PW Insider reports that Lio Rush was backstage at RAW, but he was not used. As we previously reported, he uploaded picture from a hotel room during the show.

It is reported that Rush is still a “polarizing figure” backstage in WWE. This dates back to November 2018 during the European tour where he garnered a lot of heat for committing a big infraction of backstage etiquette.

Rush has been a polarizing figure backstage for some time among other wrestlers, dating back to the November 2018 European tour, where as the junior member of the tour, he blew off  what has long been considered standard backstage etiquette for the junior member of the roster on overseas tours, including being at the gorilla position after matches to provide water to talents as they returned from the ring as well as carrying coolers and drinks into the hotels where the roster was staying in order to set up a common area where everyone could socialize privately together.

It might not sound like that big of a deal, but that is all part of paying your dues backstage in WWE. It is said that “several veterans” tried to explain to procedure to Rush, but he blew them off and complained to management instead. This did not win him any favors.

It is said that things got better in the last few months which could be why Lio Rush was back on television, but that didn’t last long.

Things calmed down in recent months, but there have been additional issues, including Rush allegedly bringing friends and relatives backstage without proper credentials and other moments where he has blown off counsel of senior Raw roster members.   Rush has completely disappeared from Raw with zero explanation of the end of his on-screen relationship with Bobby Lashley.

This falls in line with reports we have heard for a while about how Lio Rush is getting along backstage. It would be nice if he could fix all of these issues, but it doesn’t look likely at this point because Bobby Lashley seemed to adopt a new persona this week on RAW where he consonantly spoke about himself in the 3rd person.
