Matt Hardy Explains Why His Woken Gimmick Disappeared In WWE — He’s Redefined Now

Matt Hardy made his big return to the ring this week and it was quite surprising for fans who believed him when he said that there were only days left in his WWE contract. The Hardy Boyz reunited and now they are looking for tag team gold (silver) already.

WWE decided to extend Matt and Jeff Hardy’s deals by a year thanks to a clause in their contracts which allowed the company to do so. However, Matt Hardy’s Woken gimmick didn’t come back.

During a recent video called “Meet The MULTIFARIOUS Matt Hardy,” he explains what happened. Hardy said that he has learned how to control the Woken wonder inside him. He then said that we are looking at a “redefined Matt Hardy.”

You never know what will happen for Matt Hardy next in WWE. Hopefully, the Hardy Boyz return will result in an exciting new chapter in their careers. If anything, we at least have one more year of the Hardys in WWE.
