All Elite Wrestling is officially pro wrestling company and they have a lot of work to do. Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that there are still announcements to be made, but it seems like they are going to be making them as time goes on.
The new pro wrestling company is locking down talent into multi-year contracts. They are also talking to couple of television companies as well. The restrictions on those contracts aren’t quite known at this time. There could be some questions regarding how New Japan Pro Wrestling will feel about this situation.
The Elite announced that the location of the company’s next big event will be Jacksonville, Florida on January 8th. However, it won’t be a wrestling show. They will be unveiling more information about the new company and Double Or Nothing as Dave Meltzer wrote on Twitter:
“Hear you go. There will be an event on the 8th in Jacksonville with more announcements.”
This is a very interesting timing for the event because WWE has a SmackDown taping that day at the Jacksonville Memorial Arena.
People advertised for the event will be SCU, The Young Bucks, Cody & Brandi Rhodes, and Hangman Page. More special guests are expected in Jacksonville on January 8th as well.
