All Elite Wrestling is happening as The Elite confirmed the company’s existence as well as Double Or Nothing during a recent episode of Being The Elite. The logos look nice, but there is a lot more going on than that.

Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that he bumped into The Young Bucks at an arcade where they confirmed the AEW news to him before the announcement. Meltzer said that he was told they were surprised that AEW is actually a thing as well.

“There’s no television deal as we speak, but I can say that there’s multiple offers out there and I’m confident enough to say that will happen which is the key thing anyway.”

All Elite Wrestling will likely receive a television deal of some kind as Meltzer noted. Nothing is set in stone until a deal is signed. That is enough to get the ball rolling.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
