WWE had a lot of irons in the fire and then Vince McMahon announced that he would be showing up on RAW this week. During that opening segment, McMahon announced that middle management is now a thing of the past because The McMahons are in charge once again.
Paige was removed as SmackDown General Manager and we’re all very concerned about how WWE could use her next. There was also another woman who was apparently affected on the red team though.
Alexa Bliss was given the appointment by Baron Corbin on RAW as the authority figure of the women’s roster. Now that Corbin is out of power it appears that Bliss is out as well.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that “It appears Alexa Bliss as an authority figure (there was talk of her for the Baron Corbin spot once Corbin lost to Braun Strowman) has been completely dropped.”
This might be why Alexa Bliss didn’t appear on RAW at all this week. She didn’t show up on next week’s episode of RAW either, although she could have always appeared in a backstage segment.
We’ll have to wait and see what happens to Bliss next, but it appears WWE dropped some big plans for her as they started this New Era.
