One inexperienced wrestler picked the wrong veteran to mouth off to—and Zoe Serrano says the locker room nearly exploded because of it.

The woman formerly known in WWE as Zoey Stark opened up about the wild confrontation during her new “Zoey 101” series. Serrano protected both names, calling one woman a veteran and the other a “green kid” who was still learning the business. According to Serrano, the newer wrestler confronted the veteran over getting bruised and actually told her to learn how to work.

“So this one’s an interesting one because it was with a close friend of mine, and it wasn’t me. We’ll call her a vet, my friend, and we’ll call the person that she had the issue with ‘the green.’ You know, green in wrestling means that they’re new and they’re still learning on the job.”

“The green kid came up to the vet and said—I still can’t believe she even said this—pretty much, ‘Learn how to work. You bruised me. How dare you? Learn how to work.’”

The veteran fired back, but the rookie kept running her mouth. That’s when Serrano realized things were about to get ugly.

“So the vet said, ‘Hey, welcome to wrestling, kid. And I do know how to work.’ The green kid mouthed off a little bit more. Now, the vet, I’ve never seen so angry, and I’m really close with this girl.”

Serrano managed to pull her friend away before any punches were thrown. The veteran didn’t exactly calm down once they reached the locker room. Things never turned into a fistfight, but Serrano couldn’t believe the rookie had enough nerve to challenge that particular veteran.

“Luckily, she listened to me. I pulled her off. We went to the back, got to the locker room, and the vet’s just flipping tables left and right. It was a wild ride.”

“That was the closest I’ve seen to a locker-room fight. There were some issues after that, but it never turned into a fistfight. I will say the green kid has some balls, because the person you talked to like that—you better be careful. I wouldn’t want to mess with that.”

Serrano isn’t naming names, so fans are left with one hell of a wrestling mystery. Somewhere out there, a veteran and a rookie know they came within inches of throwing down backstage.

Who do you think Serrano was talking about, and was the rookie wrong for confronting the veteran? Leave your feedback in the comments.
