Pro wrestling isn’t always glamorous. Sometimes somebody takes a nasty bump, sometimes gear comes loose—and sometimes somebody farts right in the middle of a match.
Zoe Serrano, formerly known in WWE as Zoey Stark, went there during her new “Zoey 101” series. She was first asked whether she had ever soiled herself in the ring. Thankfully, the answer was no, but she admitted she has come close in a much less disastrous way.
“No, thank goodness. I personally have never had that issue. I have heard many, many stories where people do soil themselves.”
“Never personally had it. Never even had it where I accidentally peed myself because the girl landed on me too hard. I think the closest would be that I might have tooted, but that’s about it. Girls toot; they don’t fart.”
That cute “tooted” explanation didn’t last long. When Serrano was directly asked whether she or an opponent had ever passed gas during a match, she dropped the act and admitted exactly what happened.
“As I stated earlier, I have tooted in the ring. I have passed gas. It happens. You’re doing a lot of exerting, a lot of pushing.”
Serrano explained that getting landed on or struggling to lift someone can put pressure in all the wrong places. At that point, the body is going to do what the body is going to do.
“If someone lands on you or you’re picking up someone who maybe didn’t get up the right way, or whatever the case may be, it’s a natural thing, guys. It happens. We all fart. We all have buttholes. Get over it.”
There you have it. Serrano has never crapped herself during a match, but she has ripped one in the ring—and she doesn’t think anyone should act shocked about it.
