Zilla Fatu had his hands full with Charlie Dempsey at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc on October 31, 2026, but even interference from BirthRight wasn’t enough to keep him down in their chaotic Very Nice, Very Evil Match.
The action started with both men trading offense before Fatu took control with running corner splashes and a bodyslam. Dempsey quickly fired back with a gut-wrench suplex and a German suplex for a near fall, but things got ugly once the fight spilled outside the ring.
Stacks and Uriah Connors ambushed Fatu, while Lexis King accidentally slid a shovel into Fatu’s possession. Dempsey took advantage of the distraction by attacking Fatu from behind with the shovel, setting the stage for even more punishment.
Dempsey continued targeting Fatu’s arm and hand, using help from BirthRight to inflict additional damage. He also brought a steel chain into the fight and applied an octopus stretch, putting Fatu through a brutal stretch of the match.
But Fatu wasn’t finished. After surviving multiple submission attempts, he mounted a comeback with clotheslines, a lariat, and a senton. He then superkicked King, took out Stacks, and dropped Connors onto his own teammate before hitting Dempsey with a Samoan Drop.
The closing moments saw Dempsey counter Fatu’s attempted Triple Z with a shovel, but Fatu recovered and connected with the move anyway. He then climbed to the top rope and delivered a Frog Splash to secure the three-count.
The victory gave Fatu a major moment at Halloween Havoc, especially considering how much outside interference he had to overcome. BirthRight threw everything they could at him, but Dempsey still couldn’t finish the job.
