Zelina Vega Released From WWE Contract During Latest Roster Cuts

Zelina Vega previously parted ways with WWE in November 2020 due to disagreements tied to the company’s policies on third-party platforms like Twitch and Cameo. That situation became a major talking point across the industry at the time.

She ended up returning in July 2021, less than a year later. WWE adjusted their approach to talent contracts in the process. Not long after coming back, Zelina Vega found success by winning the Queen’s Crown tournament, which helped reestablish her on television. In recent memory, WWE linked Vega and Aleister Black up for a much darker repackaging, but that time is over now.
