WWE made it mandatory for all talents to stay until the end of the show several years ago, after noticing that a lot of young talents were leaving early when they really could have benefitted from staying and watching the main event guys. He completely understands why WWE would introduce this policy but on the other hand, he understands Ziggler’s point as well. Obviously Ziggler has been around for a while and WWE clearly had no issue granting his request in this case.

X-Pac mentions that some people might say that Ziggler should be sticking around at shows to talk to the younger talents and help them improve. He says that he loves Ziggler, but Ziggler has never been that guy during his time in WWE. To be completely honest, he’s not sure who younger talents would go to nowadays for advice, with Jericho, Cena and other veteran talents working part-time schedules.

He also notes that Ziggler has been talking about leaving WWE for the last several years, but he continues to resign with the company because they offer him more money. X-Pac believes Ziggler’s biggest issue with WWE is his character’s creative, and unfortunately he’ll never get creative control of his character. X-Pac fears that even while making more money, Ziggler will never be happy in WWE without some form of creative control over his character.

X-Pac informs that the new season of Lucha Underground will be filmed at a new location in downtown LA. He adds that he was actually contacted about a month ago by Lucha Underground officials, who offered him a role on the new season. He was interested in taking the offer, but Lucha Underground officials had an issue with the fact that he was signed to a Legends contract with WWE.
