Thekla has been missing from AEW television since losing the Women’s World Championship, but she is now in London ahead of AEW All In. While that doesn’t guarantee she will appear at Wembley Stadium, the timing has opened the door for a potential return during AEW’s biggest show of the year.
Fightful Select confirmed that Thekla made the trip to London, although her role for the event remains unknown.
“We may not need to stay tuned for long. We’re told that Thekla is in London ahead of AEW All In London. We’ve not heard an update on what she’ll be doing yet.”
This comes after Tony Khan teased Thekla’s return during the AEW All In media call. Khan said fans should expect to see her back on television “very soon” while praising her work in AEW.
Khan has an eight-match main card planned for All In, but he also left room for additional segments and surprises throughout the event. He never confirmed Thekla for the show, but her presence in London makes an appearance much more possible.
Thekla hasn’t appeared on AEW television since Redemption on July 26, when she lost the AEW Women’s World Championship to Willow Nightingale. Skye Blue attempted to help Thekla retain, but Willow survived and caught her with a roll-up to win the championship.
There is still no confirmation that Thekla will appear at All In, but she is in the right city at the right time. With Khan already teasing her return, fans now have another name to watch when AEW takes over Wembley Stadium.
