Alexa Bliss is backstage and Nikki Cross appears. Cross wishes Bliss luck for her match against Bayley. Bliss says she knows Cross wanted the tag titles but she feels guilty. Cross tells her not to worry, because the SmackDown Women’s Championship is too special to be with Bayley.

United States Championship Match

(C) Samoa Joe Vs. Ricochet

The match gets underway and they lock-up, with Joe taking Ricochet down and kicking him. Ricochet ducks Joe and chops his chest before hitting a headscissors and a dropkick that knocks Joe from the ring.

Ricochet looks for a baseball slide but Joe avoids it and slams him into the apron. Joe tosses Ricochet into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Ricochet avoids Joe in the corner but Joe then hits him with a urinage. Joe tees off on Ricochet and connects with a step-up enziguiri in the corner.

Ricochet tries to fight back but Joe continues to floor him with right hands and elbows. Joe lands an alley-oop powerbomb for a two count, before applying a neck-crank. Ricochet dodges Joe and hits an enziugiri to take the Champ off his feet. Ricochet hits a hurricanrana, followed by a springboard elbow. Joe rolls from the ring but Ricochet hits a spinning tope.

Back inside the ring, Ricochet hits a springboard missile dropkick, followed by a springboard moonsault for a near-fall. Ricochet chops Joe, who gives one right back. Joe counters a handstand springboard from Ricochet with a German suplex and a big clothesline for a two count. Ricochet swings a kick but Joe catches it and flips him backwards. Joe looks for the Coquida Clutch but Ricochet climbs over the ropes and kicks Joe to get out. Ricochet looks for the 630 but Joe moves. Ricochet dodges Joe and hits a Codebreaker, followed by the 630 and the win!

Winner and New United States Championship: Ricochet

Ricochet celebrates his “first” title win in WWE, posing on the ropes as we see replays. Ricochet makes his way back to Gorilla and he’s greeted by people like Seth Rollins, Charlotte, Carmella, Heavy Machinery and even Triple H. Heavy Machinery then make their way through the curtain.
