We get a hype video for Extreme Rules, happening in Philadelphia on July 14th.

Kayla Braxton stops to interview Shane and Drew backstage. She says it seems Roman got the last laugh but Drew says he’ll be damned if that’s the case. Shane looks into the camera and says tomorrow night it will be Roman against both of them in a handicap match to find out who’s yard it really is.

Corbin comes out for his main event match with Seth Rollins. The Champion comes out next, carrying a chair with him. Corbin grabs the microphone and is about to announce the referee when Rollins jumps out of the ring and scares him off. Seth says he doesn’t know who the referee is but if they come out here he will beat them with his chair. Seth gets back in the ring and Corbin grabs the microphone again. Baron introduces the special guest referee…

Evans comes to the ring and gets in Seth’s face – she lost to Seth’s girlfriend Becky Lynch earlier tonight. She lets him know that she’s in charge. She grabs the chair from his hand, leading to Corbin attacking from behind. Corbin grabs the chair and beats Rollins with it a few times.

WWE Universal Championship Match

Special Guest Referee:

(C) Seth Rollins Vs. Baron Corbin

Corbin gets Seth in the ring and Lacey calls for the bell. Corbin hits a spin-out slam, before tossing Rollins from the ring. Corbin beats Rollins around ringside, slamming him into the barricade and the ring post.

Corbin gets Seth back in the ring but eats chops to the chest from the Champion. Corbin hits the in-and-out clothesline as the fans chant “Becky”. Corbin hits a knee to the gut, followed by a right hand. Seth begins to fight back but Baron catches him with a DDT.

Corbin whips Rollins into the turnbuckles hard, then again. The fans chant “boring” as Corbin tees-off on Rollins in the corner. Rollins fights Corbin off the ropes and jumps over him but gets caught with a right hand to the throat. Double axe handle from Corbin to the Champion.

Rollins starts to fight back and drops Corbin with a slingblade. Rollins kicks Corbin, followed by a blockbuster. Corbin is knocked from the ring and Rollins hits a suicide dive. Rollins gets Corbin back inside and connects with a springboard knee a superkick. Rollins goes for the pin but Evans counter very slow and Corbin kicks out.

Rollins looks for a springboard but Corbin delivers a right hand to drop him. Seth counters Corbin and pulls him off the apron to powerbomb him through the announce table. Rollins tells Evans to count Corbin out but she does so very slowly. Corbin can’t make it back into the ring, so Evans announces that there are no count-outs in this match.

Rollins angrily brings Corbin back into the ring and stomps-up the band. He superkicks Corbin, but the lone wolf rolls from the ring to avoid The Stomp. Rollins looks for a suicide dive but Corbin catches him and slams him on the apron. Corbin then hits Rollins with a chokeslam in the ring for a near-fall. Corbin grabs Rollins by the legs but Rollins escapes and kicks Corbin, followed by a superkick. Rollins goes up top and hits a frog splash but Evans can’t make the three count because her arm is sore – thanks to Becky Lynch earlier tonight.

Corbin rolls out of the ring and Seth argues with Lacey. Corbin then attacks Seth with a steel chair. He batters him repeatedly as Evans pretends not to see. Evans then tells the ring announcer that this is now a no-disqualification match. Corbin sets the chair down but Rollins hits a falcon arrow on it. Evans won’t even attempt to count the pinfall. Rollins turns to Evans and squares-up to her, so she slaps him. Seth asks her to hit him again, so she does, then low-blows him.

Corbin hits the End of Days but Becky Lynch comes-a-running down and attacks Lacey Evans. Becky knocks her from the ring, then dives off the apron onto her. Lynch tosses her into the barricade, then hits a Bexploder on the outside. More officials come running down to pull Becky off of Lacey. The match has a new referee, the same one that cost Corbin the match in Saudi Arabia, and Baron isn’t happy. Corbin looks for the End of Days but Rollins rolls through and hits The Stomp for the win!

Winner: Seth Rollins

Becky comes into the ring afterwards and helps Rollins to his feet before holding his hand up. Rollins hugs her and that’s the end of Stomping Grounds. So a mixed tag match at SummerSlam? With both belts on the line? We’ll find out tomorrow.

Let us know what you thought of the show and be sure to come back here tomorrow for more news and results. Until then, safe travels!
