Raw Women’s Championship Match
(C) Becky Lynch Vs. Lacey Evans
A collar-and-elbow tie-up starts the match and Becky forces Evans to the corner. Lynch takes Evans down with a leglock and Lacey reaches the ropes. Evans rolls from the ring but Becky chases her and sends her back inside.
Becky kicks Evans, and Lacey tries to return the favour but Becky grabs her foot and walks around in circles before slamming her face-first. Lynch slams Evans’ face into the turnbuckles repeatedly before botching a corner springboard kick, then doing it again and landing it. The fans chant “Lacey sucks”, however that was 100% Becky’s fault. Becky kicks her from the ring and hits a baseball slide.
Back inside the ring, Becky gets a stiff kick in the gut and Evans lands a front facelock slam. She drags Becky around the ringpost and pulls her roughly by the hair. Lacey kicks the ribs of Becky as the fans tell her she can’t wrestle. Evans continues to attack the ribs and trapping the arm. Becky fights up but Evans lands a shoulder tackle.
Becky bridges out of a pinfall attempt, then kicks Evans from another springboard. Becky performs an awkward armbar takedown but Evans gets to the ropes. Evans catches Becky with a drop toe hold into the corner, then hits a handspring bronco buster of sorts. Lynch shoves Evans’ napkin in her mouth, then drops her with clotheslines, and connects with a knee. A Bexploder earns a two count.
Becky looks for a leg-drop from the top rope but Lacey moves. Evans then looks for an elbow drop and Becky gets her knees up. Evans hits a springboard stunner of sorts, then kicks Lynch for a near-fall. Becky reverses Evans and applies the Dis-Arm-Her for the submission win.
Winner: Becky Lynch
Kayla Braxton is backstage, outside Baron Corbin’s office. Paul Heyman walks out and she asks if we’ll be seeing Brock Lesnar tonight. Heyman asks if Kofi Kingston and Seth Rollins is here, and they are, so does that propose an opportunity for his client? He walks off and out comes Corbin. He says if she keeps hanging around his locker room he’s going to assume she wants more than an interview. Braxton asks if he has found a referee and he says he has. A person who will call if down the middle, because he doesn’t need any help defeating Seth Rollins.
