It’s time for the first of Becky Lynch’s title defences. Evans comes out first and she has two guns that shoot money.
Raw Women’s Championship Match
(C) Becky Lynch Vs. Lacey Evans
The match gets underway and Becky takes the fight to Evans right away. She hits her with a dropkick and Evans rolls from the ring to regroup. Lynch follows-up with a baseball slide to floor Evans.
Becky whips Lacey into the barricade before getting her back into the ring. Evans dodges a kick from Becky and slams her into the mat head-first. The fans sing Lynch’s music as Evans begins to target Becky’s left arm. Evans continues to work over the arm and hits a springboard elbow drop for a two count. Evans applies a submission targeting the arm and the fans try to rally Becky.
Evans slams Becky down and hits a nice handstand moonsault for a two count. Shen then takes a handkerchief from her tights and dabs her head with it. She stuffs it in Becky’s mouth but that just angers the Lasskicker. Becky punches and kicks Evans before hitting a clothesline from the middle rope. Evans looks for Women’s Rights but Becky ducks and lands some side kicks, followed by the Bex-Plex. She hits a running forearm in the corner, then takes to the top rope for a sloppy missile dropkick that sends Lacey out of the ring.
Becky gets onto the apron and hits Evans with a running forearm on the floor. She gets Evans back in the ring and scores a two count. Evans counters Becky and looks for a springboard Diamond Cutter of sorts, but it was pretty sloppy. Lynch grabs her for the Dis-Arm-Her but Evans gets to the ropes. Evans then hits the back of Becky’s bad knee and rolls her up but for some reason the referee doesn’t count. Lynch then reverses the pin into the Dis-Arm-Her and Evans taps.
Winner: Becky Lynch
Corey Graves points out the referee’s incompetence after the fact. Becky is about to leave the ring when out comes Charlotte, saying her match is right now.
