Steel Cage Match
The Miz Vs. Shane McMahon
As soon as the bell rings Shane scales the cage and tries to escape. Miz drags him back down into the cage and unloads some ground and pound on him. Shane kicks Miz off and continues trying to escape, but keeps being pulled back in. Miz attacks Shane with the It Kicks, but McMahon catches him and slams him into the cage.
Shane stands on Miz’s face and tees off on him against the cage. Shane slows the pace and stomps Miz around the ring. He climbs the ropes and looks for the Coast to Coast but Miz catches his legs in mid-air and applies the Figure Four Leg Lock! There are no rope breaks but Shane pulls himslef along the ropes towards the door. He kicks Miz off and nearly gets out the door but Miz grabs his legs.
Miz drags Shane back inside but McMahon has a chair now. Miz kicks him before he can use the weapon and both men are down. Miz gets the chair and hits Shane with it. McMahon tries to crawl out the door but Miz yanks it back and into Shane’s head. Miz continues to beat the chair off of Shane’s back. Miz then lifts Shane and hits Skull Crushing Finale onto a steel chair. Miz pins him but Shane gets his foot on the bottom rope….the referee stopped counting but rope breaks don’t work. The commentators try to say the referee is in Shane’s pocket as the fans chant “bull$hit.”
Shane tries to escape and Miz grabs him again. Miz looks to hit Skull Crushing Finale off of the top rope but Shane elbows him and they both fall. Shane climbs to the top but Miz whacks his leg with the chair. Miz then climbs up and joins Shane at the top. They brawl until Miz is able to yank Shane from the top of the cage and square into the middle of the ring. Ow. Miz then hit a terrible frog splash from the top rope for a near-fall.
Shane manages to apply the head triangle to The Miz and the fans rally for him to escape. Miz forces Shane back and into a pin so Shane releases. Shane then crawls to the cage door but Miz pulls him back in and catapults him into the cage wall but Shane grabs hold and starts climbing. Shane gets his legs over but Miz grabs his head. Miz looks to hit a superplex from the top of the cage but Shane wriggles free. Miz has his shirt but Shane literally slides down and out of his shirt to escape the cage and win.
Winner: Shane McMahon
Mick Foley will be on Raw tomorrow night to announce a brand new title in WWE. Hardcore? European? Galaxy?
The camera is suddenly running around backstage until we find Triple H and officials. The camera goes into a dark area where we see Sami Zayn hanging upside down, unconscious. Triple H then shoves the camera guy out of the area and he falls down.
