Lucha House Party make their way to the ring for a six-man tag match. Lince Dorado grabs the microphone and cuts a generic promo about how special Money In The Bank is and that it’s time to party.
Lars Sullivan comes out. Gran Metalik attempts to dive onto Sullivan but is caught and tossed like a ragdoll. The same fate awaits Dorado just a moment later. Sullivan then gets into the ring and beats on Kalisto, before hitting a sit-out powerbomb. Lars somehow got busted open there.
Our next match is the WWE Championship match. It’s odd having the Money In The Bank ladder match as the main event.
WWE Championship Match
(C) Kofi Kingston Vs. Kevin Owens
The match begins and the Champion and challenger meet in the middle of the ring trading hands. Kingston is whipped into the corner and bounces back out with a clothesline. Owens rolls from the ring but Kofi chases after, running up the steps and hitting a chop to the head. Kofi tosses KO into the barricade. Owens tries to whip him into the steps but Kofi leaps onto the apron, then up the turnbuckles and jumps off with a splash to Owens.
Back inside the ring, Owens begins to take control, stomping Kofi and firing him into the turnbuckles. Owens hits a running senton to the back, then knocks Kofi off the apron and into a camera man. KO runs along the apron and hits a frog splash to Kofi on the floor. Back inside the ring he earns a two count.
Kofi finally manages to create some distance and hits Owens with a back drop into the turnbuckles. Owens counters Kofi and applies a Boston crab, in an attempt to continue weakening the lower back. Kofi reaches the ropes and rolls to the apron. Owens gets on the apron and looks to powerbomb Kofi but the Champion escapes and they exchange shots. Kofi then runs and hits Owens with a double foot stomp on the apron. Kofi takes to the top rope and leaps to the outside, where Owens hits him with a huge superkick.
Owens gets Kofi back inside for a near-fall. Owens looks for the pop-up powerbomb but Kofi lands on his feet. Kofi looks for S.O.S but Owens gets out and looks for the Stunner but Kofi dodges and hits the S.O.S for a near-fall. Owens applies another Boston crab and again Kofi gets to the bottom rope but the damage has been done. Owens lines-up a superkick but Kofi went for Trouble In Paradise and there appeared to be some discombobulation. Kofi unloaded some ground and pound to the back of Owens’ head, then looked for Trouble In Paradise again but Owens caught him with the Pop-Up Powerbomb for another near-fall.
Owens gets mad and lines-up a Stunner but Kofi shoves him off and hits Trouble In Paradise…but it knocked Owens out of the ring! Kofi slides out and grabs Owens, getting him back inside. As Kofi slides back in, Owens connects with the Stunner! Owens pins but Kofi gets his foot on the bottom rope. Owens takes Kofi’s shoes off and climbs to the top rope for a Swanton Bomb but Kofi got his knees up. Kofi hits Trouble In Paradise and that’s it!

Xavier Woods joins Kofi in the ring after his win and the duo celebrate together.
