WWE may be looking to bring one of its biggest shows to Milwaukee—and this would be a whole lot bigger than another arena stop.
According to PWInsider, MLB sources say WWE has been exploring the possibility of running a major premium live event at American Family Field, the home of the Milwaukee Brewers. The company has looked at dates in the fall of 2026 or sometime in 2027, although nothing has been officially locked in yet.
American Family Field can hold more than 40,000 fans for baseball, and a wrestling setup could give WWE plenty of room to build another huge stadium presentation. The retractable roof also makes Milwaukee a much safer option during the fall, when Wisconsin weather can turn ugly fast.
The biggest mystery is which event WWE could bring there. A fall date opens the door to several possibilities depending on the year, but the report only describes it as a major PLE and does not identify a specific show.
Interestingly enough, WWE originally wanted to take Survivor Series 2026 overseas. The idea reportedly gained momentum toward the end of 2025 before falling apart over the last several months, forcing the company back to the drawing board. Once those plans collapsed, Boston emerged as another possibility. But that didn’t last either. So, whether WWE decides to have Survivor Series take place at the American Family Field is a different story altogether, but the timing can’t be ignored.
For now, Milwaukee is only being explored—not confirmed. Still, WWE does not look into a baseball stadium without thinking big, and if the company gets this one across the finish line, Wisconsin could be landing one of the largest wrestling events it has hosted in years.
