Masyn Holiday didn’t just disappear from WWE’s system — she finally confirmed she walked away.
Fans recently noticed that the former WWE developmental talent had scrubbed the Masyn Holiday name from Instagram and switched back to her real name, Darci Khan. That kind of move usually tells the story before anyone says a word, but now Khan has said it herself. She is gone from WWE.
Khan joined WWE through the company’s Next In Line program in late 2023 after competing in track and field at Howard University. WWE later brought her into the developmental system under the Masyn Holiday name, but she never became a regular face on NXT television. That chapter is now over, and Khan confirmed it in a video posted to Instagram.
“Hi, everybody. My name is Darcy Khan, formerly known as the Mason Holiday. And I have left the WWE. I left the WWE, y’all. I did.”
Khan made it clear she wasn’t trying to take shots at WWE or the people who helped train her. This wasn’t some angry exit video. She said the company simply wasn’t where she belonged anymore.
“I’m not saying the WWE is bad, not bashing nobody at WWE, loving people down, but it’s just for me and my purpose on this earth, it just wasn’t aligning at all. The things that I desire in life and the places that the WWE would take me, just they weren’t in line.”
That’s a pretty blunt ending for a WWE NIL project that never really got off the ground on television. Khan came in with athletic upside, got a WWE name, and entered the machine. Now she’s out before fans ever got a real look at her. For Darci Khan, the Masyn Holiday name is gone, the WWE chapter is closed, and she sounds more relieved than anything else.
