The WWE Crown Jewel Premium Live Event is finally upon us and fans in Saudi Arabia are in for a ride, as the company has booked a star-studded card for the event.

Champion vs. Champion Match: World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns vs. Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn

Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn have plenty of history, but they’re very different champions heading into Crown Jewel. Since defeating CM Punk at WrestleMania 42, Reigns has made a point of defending the World Heavyweight Championship without his family’s help. Zayn, meanwhile, has become increasingly willing to use questionable tactics since regaining the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Things have also become personal. Reigns questioned whether Sami would even make it to Crown Jewel as champion, while Zayn has demanded that Reigns and everyone else finally “acknowledge” him.

Sami was once the “Honorary Uce” in Reigns’ Bloodline before their relationship fell apart, and they eventually reunited for WarGames in 2024. Now they’re standing across from each other again, this time as WWE’s two top champions. So we’ll have to see who will win in the end.

Champion vs. Champion Match: WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green vs. Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan

Chelsea Green and Liv Morgan both arrive at Crown Jewel with championships, but they took very different roads to get here. Green captured the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam by defeating Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, Charlotte Flair and Lash Legend in a Five-Way Ladder Match.

She’s done plenty since then to show the win wasn’t a fluke. Green fought through a broken orbital bone to retain against Nia Jax and has since survived Roxanne Perez and Nikki Bella, making sure nobody could take her place in this Champion vs. Champion match.

Liv had her own climb back to the top. Morgan regained the Women’s World Championship at Money in the Bank by defeating then-champion Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch in a Triple Threat Match, beginning her fourth reign with the title.

Green confronted her the very next night on Raw. Now there aren’t any other challengers standing between them. It’s WWE Women’s Champion against Women’s World Champion, with both trying to leave Crown Jewel as the woman standing above the other.

Last Man Standing Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton

Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton don’t need a championship involved anymore. This has become personal enough without one, and now they’re going to square off against each other in a Last Man Standing match.

Rhodes successfully defended the Undisputed WWE Championship against Orton at WrestleMania 42, but Orton made sure the night didn’t end with Cody celebrating. The Viper attacked him after the match, drilling Rhodes with the championship before hitting him with a Punt.

Cody hasn’t forgotten it. The bigger change is what that attack appears to have brought out of him. Rhodes later used the Punt himself against Baron Corbin, showing that he’s becoming increasingly willing to go to the same places as his former mentor.

Now there isn’t going to be a normal pinfall or submission to end things. One man has to hurt the other badly enough that he can’t answer the referee’s ten-count. Considering what Orton already did to Cody and where Cody’s head seems to be now, that stipulation feels pretty appropriate.

World Tag Team Championship: Bron Breakker & Austin Theory (c) vs. Penta & Je’Von Evans

Penta and Je’Von Evans have spent weeks dealing with The Vision. Tonight they finally get the championships involved. Evans’ problems with Bron Breakker and Austin Theory go back to September, when Theory interfered during his match against Breakker. Penta soon became involved, and the rivalry kept getting more violent from there.

Breakker Speared both men after Penta and Evans defeated Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh. Penta and Evans answered by beating Breakker and Theory in a non-title match, with Evans using The Vision’s own brass knuckles against Theory.

Then things got worse. Breakker sent Evans through the top of an ambulance, but Evans eventually returned and helped Penta defeat Breakker. The Vision responded again on October 26 by brutally attacking both challengers.

That was enough for Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, who gave Penta and Evans the World Tag Team Championship match they had been fighting toward. Penta already has the Money in the Bank briefcase, which means he has one major opportunity sitting in his hands. Tonight, he and Evans have the chance to add championship gold without needing to cash anything in.
