Mike Santana’s TNA future may already be decided.

Santana is expected to become a free agent this year, and WWE has already been linked to interest in bringing him in. Now, a new update makes it sound like people inside WWE believe he is heading their way once his TNA deal runs out.

False Finish reports that sources within WWE believe Santana will be leaving TNA and signing with WWE after his contract expires. Santana was previously set to become a free agent in late 2025, but he ended up re-signing with TNA at the time. Now, his contract situation is back in the spotlight again.

This follows an earlier update from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, which noted that WWE had interest in Santana. The update also stated that at least one member of WWE’s main roster strongly supported the idea of bringing him in.

Santana’s work and professionalism are also said to be well regarded, which only helps his case if WWE decides to make a serious move for him.

There is no word yet on where Santana would land if he signs with WWE. However, WWE was said to have interest in getting him on the main roster by the end of the year if they are able to land him.

Santana has become one of TNA’s top names during his current run, so losing him would be a big hit for the company. At the same time, a WWE move would put him on a much bigger stage after rebuilding himself as a singles star. For now, Santana is still with TNA, but the belief within WWE is that he may not be there much longer.
