WWE had a few surprises for the live crowd before NXT Halloween Havoc on October 31, 2026 officially got underway. While viewers watching on The CW and Netflix internationally didn’t get to see everything, those inside the arena were treated to two additional matches before the cameras started rolling.

Before the premium live event went on the air, WWE held two dark matches featuring several NXT talents who weren’t part of the televised Halloween Havoc lineup.

The first match saw The Dropouts, Jackson Goonrey and Tyran Tuckey, take on Harley Riggins and Jax Presley in tag team action. Goonrey and Tuckey ultimately came away with the victory after delivering a double superkick to Presley to secure the three-count.

That wasn’t the only match the television audience missed. In another untelevised contest, Elio LeFleur squared off against Brooks Jensen in singles action. LeFleur managed to pick up the victory after connecting with a neckscissor slam to put Jensen away.

Neither match was included in the official broadcast, meaning the results were exclusive to those attending the event in person. WWE regularly uses dark matches to give talent additional opportunities to compete in front of live audiences, and Halloween Havoc was no exception. With two extra matches taking place before the broadcast, the October 31 event featured more in-ring action than viewers at home actually saw.

What do you think about WWE featuring these talents in untelevised matches, and which of them would you like to see get more opportunities on NXT television? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
