Russo mentions that there has been a lot of hype online recently about Ronda Rousey’s ‘imminent’ signing with WWE. He points out that Rousey had her ass handed to her during her last two UFC fights, and he can’t believe WWE thinks casual fans are going to be interested in watching her fake fight at this point in her career.
Lane points out that Meltzer told a story on his radio show last week about being recognized while shopping at a Hot Topic store recently. Russo says that Meltzer’s ego is so huge that he needs to tell people about the fact that he was recognized in public. Russo says he’s never told a story like that in his life. The funniest part about this story in Russo’s opinion is that Meltzer’s a 57-year old going into Hot Topic to buy Young Bucks shirts.
