Vince Russo couldn’t believe one particular number coming out of this year’s Gathering of the Juggalos. According to Russo, police confiscated a staggering 700 pounds of drugs during the event.

While speaking on The Coach and Bro Show, Vince Russo brought up the seizure and seemed almost shocked as he repeated the amount that police ended up confiscating during the event.

“Do you know at the Gathering the police confiscated 700 pounds of drugs? That’s what they confiscated! 700! Yes, yes.”

According to Loudwire, the Gathering moved to Mother Nature’s Riverfront Retreat in Macks Creek, Missouri, for its 26th edition. The Camden County Sheriff’s Office and a Mid-Missouri task force coordinated enforcement around the event, with authorities reportedly seizing 622.5 pounds of illegal drugs just two days into the four-day festival.

There were several arrests along the way. One roadside investigation turned up 93 pounds of marijuana and 124 pounds of mushrooms, along with quantities of ketamine, ketamine/fentanyl and MDMA/ecstasy.

Another arrest involved Kevin M. Jones, whose “Bluntman’s One Stop Shop” was listed on the Gathering’s ticketing website. Authorities reportedly seized 128 pounds of marijuana, 2.5 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms and more than $5,000 in cash during that investigation. The Gathering ran from August 19 through August 22 and featured Juggalo Championship Wrestling alongside the music festivities.

There was obviously a lot happening during four days at the Gathering, but Russo only needed one statistic to leave him floored. Hundreds of pounds had already been seized halfway through the festival, so his disbelief over that reported 700-pound figure isn’t hard to understand.
