Val Venis isn’t blaming Democrats for the Republican Party getting hammered in the midterms. The former WWE star thinks Republicans deserved what they got — but his reason for saying it went into some pretty wild territory.
Venis took to Twitter following the November 3 election results and wasted absolutely no time making his feelings clear.
“🔴📢 REPUBLICANS DESERVED TO LOSE THE ELECTION!”
But Venis wasn’t celebrating Democrats as much as he was unloading on Republican leadership. He immediately tied his frustration to the Charlie Kirk murder case and pushed an unsubstantiated claim that someone he identified as “Rick Cutler,” rather than accused suspect Tyler Robinson, was responsible for Kirk’s death.
“What kind of mentally disabled group of ‘leaders’ are we subjugated under when Americas own government has its CIA/Mossad asset in ‘Rick Cutler’ caught on ONE VIDEO SHOOTING AND MURDERING CHARLIE KIRK PUBLICALLY, and then gaslight the population into believing Tyler Robinson was the culprit.
THIS IS A SICKNESS IN SOCIETY!”
That is Venis’ allegation, not an established fact. Robinson has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from Kirk’s September 2025 killing, and the criminal case remains ongoing. Venis’ post came after Democrats took control of Congress in the 2026 midterms. Interestingly enough, he wasn’t the only former WWE star talking about the results, because Mick Foley was pretty damn happy with how the night went as well.
Foley had spent the days before the election openly asking Americans to vote Democrat, and afterward posted that he was “very happy with tonight’s results” while adding that Americans have “so much more in common that unites us than divides us.”
So while Foley came out of election night preaching unity, Venis went in the complete opposite direction and started swinging at Republican leadership. Whatever anyone makes of his reasoning, there was absolutely no ambiguity about who Venis thought deserved the blame for the party’s losses.
