Val Venis isn’t letting MJF have the last word — especially after getting called out in a way he didn’t expect, as he went after the Salt of the Earth over his drawing ability.
After initially teasing a shot with a vague tweet, Val Venis took to Twitter and unloaded a much more direct attack, targeting MJF’s drawing power, his platform, and even bringing CM Punk into the mix.
The latest post comes after MJF previously responded by resurfacing an old tweet from Cody Rhodes that took aim at Venis’ legacy. Now, Venis is firing back with a full-blown rant that goes far beyond a one-line jab.
“🤼♂️ Let me get this straight. The SOTE (Salt of the Earth); pushed by a billionaire’s broadcast machine; can barely draw 600,000 viewers per week on a good week, yet he tries to drag THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND… The Big Valbowski, Val Venis?”
Venis continued by comparing his own run during WWE’s Attitude Era to MJF’s current position, pointing out the difference in audience numbers and consistency.
“SOTE is out here attempting to drag a man who was performing week in and week out in front of 5 to 8 million viewers on Monday Night Raw during the greatest era in wrestling history, the Attitude Era; while also tearing it up on multiple house shows across the country, night after night for YEARS.”
He didn’t stop there. Venis also took things in a more personal direction while referencing MJF’s loss to CM Punk, positioning himself as someone who had a stronger record in that comparison.
“The midget Hebrew who lost to the commie CM Punk is trying to drag the MAN who not only put CM Punk on the map but remains UNDEFEATED against him.”
Venis closed out the message by throwing down a challenge tied directly to viewership numbers, making it clear he doesn’t see MJF on his level.
“STOP! When you grow up and break a million viewers consistently like the legends of the Attitude Era, then I might take notice. Until then… keep my name out your mouth, kid.”
This isn’t a subtle back-and-forth anymore — Venis went from a one-line tease to a full rant, and now it’s turned into a straight-up war of words with MJF, who already showed he’s willing to fire back. Bottom line, Venis didn’t just respond — he escalated it, and now this thing looks like it’s only getting louder from here.
