Stephanie Vaquer just had a massive night in Chile, and Triple H made sure everyone saw it. Vaquer defeated Liv Morgan to win the WWE Women’s World Championship at WWE’s live event in Santiago on September 12, 2026, and WWE’s Chief Content Officer quickly reacted to the title change afterward.
Becky Lynch served as the special guest referee for the match, and she ended up becoming a huge part of the finish. Morgan appeared to have Vaquer beaten after connecting with Oblivion, but Lynch stopped her count at two and gave Morgan the middle finger instead of completing the pin.
That was all Vaquer needed. She regained control, hit the SVB and followed it with the Vaquer Inferno to put Morgan away and capture the Women’s World Championship in front of her home-country crowd.
Triple H reacted shortly after the match by posting footage of the finish and keeping his message simple.

The victory gives Vaquer her second reign as WWE Women’s World Champion. Morgan’s run ends after 148 days and two successful title defenses, including a victory over Vaquer on the September 7 episode of WWE RAW.
The way WWE handled the finish also leaves a lot hanging in the air. Lynch didn’t just stand there and call the match — she directly stopped Morgan from winning, giving Vaquer the opening she needed to take the title. That could create an entirely new problem for Morgan while Vaquer moves forward with the championship.
Winning the title in Chile was already going to be a huge moment for Vaquer, but having Triple H immediately post the finish made it clear WWE wanted the title change to feel like a major deal. Now Vaquer leaves Santiago with the gold, Morgan has every reason to be furious and Lynch’s involvement could turn into an even bigger story.
